I just purchased the following RAM kit: Mushkin Enhanced Redline 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 994102

I am running it on a ASRock Z77 motherboard and I ran Memtest+ to make sure the sticks were good. After six passes, Memtest+ found two errors during pass four on test 5 (see attached). What does this mean as far as my RAM goes. Is it faulty? From reading online, it appears that I may be able to increase the DRAM voltage to eliminate errors. Is that a correct assessment? If so, how much voltage should be increased?

Thanks, any insights would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am sure that is a bug with that beta version of MemTest, pretty sure I remember seeing that errors at less than 1MB in test 5 is a false positive(bug) in the beta.

Good find! Thank you. From reading the thread it looks like a problem related to the beta. I have downloaded the new version and I'll give it a go later this week. Thanks again for the heads up. I'll report back when I get a chance to run the test again.
